The Somontano region of Barbastro is situated in the province of Huesca, between the foothills of the Pyrenees and the Monegrino flatlands. Its name has its origin in its location: at the foot of the mountains.

It is a region with a variety of landscapes, a rich history and cultural heritage, as well as being a paradise for lovers of adventure and nature and, of course, of WINE. A tourist destination that you can enjoy through all of the seasons of the year.

A bountiful land, with undulating reliefs and suitable climatic conditions for olive growing, orchards, and the famous wines with the Somontano Designation of Origin. Barbastro, the capital of the region and gateway to the Pyrenees, is the most important centre of commerce and services in the area.
